About Us

We’re passionate about small business. Madalen’s parents migrated to Australia in the early 1950’s and from there her father built up a business with little knowledge of the language, to a team of 30+ employees in painting and decorating working with the top home builders in Victoria. He was one of the first people in Australia to perfect ‘mirror finishing’ and teach others in that craft. Her mother, a fantastic cook and dress maker, had her own fashion label for a time and then ran kitchens in local hotels. She also was a founding member of International Womens’ Day. So yes, there’s passion for small business, a fire in the belly that wants us to go that extra mile!
